Southaven Internal Medicine has been serving the residents of DeSoto County and the greater Memphis area since 1996. Founded by Dr. Magdi Wassef, our practice is built on a simple promise: to provide every patient with attentive, evidence-based care in a warm, welcoming environment.

If the doctor orders blood work, where can I get it done?
For your convenience, American Esoteric Laboratories (AEL) has a location right inside our office. All blood work your physician orders can be done on-site — no extra trips required.
What if I can't come in for an office visit but want to see the doctor?
We offer telehealth options for our patients. This allows the doctor to connect with you securely by video or phone call for your visit. Some appointments still require an in-person visit. Call us to ask about scheduling a telehealth appointment.
What credit cards do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards.
How do I access my medical records or lab results?
You can access your records, lab results, and communicate with our care team through our secure Patient Portal. The portal is available 24/7 from any device. Contact our office if you need help setting up your account.
Do you offer same-day appointments?
Yes. We reserve 15 same-day appointment slots every day for patients with acute or urgent needs. Call early in the morning to secure your spot at (662) 349-1999.
